Jodie Foster probably needs no further introduction. In addition to being a wonderful actress, she also is not afraid of showing her bare feet and enjoying walking on them. I doubt, however, if she would have performed in some of her roles so well, had she been barefoot there... or could you imagine Special Agent Clarisse Starling, fresh from the Quantico FBI Academy, interrogating Hannibal Lector in her bare feet...? (Actually, I can, but it might not have fit the part... :)). Furthermore, she has had some sort of barefoot past... (A fellow DSS member mailed a picture to me, showing Jodie (apparently in the 1970s, judging the looks of her trousers...>:)) skateboarding in her bare feet. I don't know whether it is from a movie or not, but it sure shows her barefoot past. Thanks, Louis.)
