Lucy Lawless - a name which, in the past might have provoked reactions like:
'Yeah, I can well guess what sort of movies she makes...' - and wrongly so.
Today, no one would react that way, even though her most famous TV appearance
is that of a rather tightly and sexily clad femme... but one with more to show
and give than good looks: principle, love caring, and a nice portion of humour,
and of course, the good looks, too. All of this adds up to a spicy fantasy stew,
known as Xena, Warrior Princess - and Lucy plays her very well.
Being from New Zealand, Lucy should have a past on bare feet, since there,
unshod people are quite common (as one Dirty Sole Society member once wrote:
"If you don't want to be recognized as a tourist in NZ, walk barefoot! No one
would suppose a tourist did that") - and I also have 'proof' of her barefoot
