One of the other icons of the music scene (especially among punk rock fans, or friends of different music as a whole) surely is Henry Rollins, and his band, Rollins Band. Innovation, creativity, diversity might be lables one could stick to his work. And he lives it as well (as his preference of tattoos and performing and being barefoot demonstrate clearly...)
