Short information about the links above:

1. The Court's Code of Conduct was the draft to a policy concerning the proper behaviour of the mortal Judges on the Realm of Magic.
2. The Map Library is not as big a library as other players have made it previously, but rather a small collection of maps, mostly covering zones Werevu once mapped on BlueMage MUD (now defunct).
3. Strongbow is one of the higher immortals on Elysium, a Circle-type MUD, which went into a test phase, but sadly never opened for full playing. He was patron and chief builder of area 9, which he designed (with a big little help by the creators of ElfQuest, however...). You will find a link to the NEW ELYSIUM web pages there, too...!!
4. My other characters I had on RoM are no secret since I do not see any reason to hide. :)
5. The Pictures from the MUD party are not directly stored here, but there are merely inline links to the picture sites themselves. Have a look.

Basic information:

The name: Actually, the name is 'borrowed', and has its own meaning. Werevu is a Swahili word, meaning: cleverness, craftiness, cunning - but also: shrewdness. - Originally, Werevu has been first used on TLK Muck by Michael A. Pritchard (still occasionally to be found there under that name - formerly part of the wizard staff) - he knows that I use the name, and has not disapproved. :). My choice of that name was due to sheer uncreativity, since I started playing a MUD, and at the 'What name shalst thou be known by?' prompt, I could not think of any other name, but that one... - heh, some other people didn't know any better, and typed their real-life names... and got stuck with it. :)

The background: For being played on Realm of Magic, a background story had been started and published in that MUD's own news magazine... see the link to the RealmNews Archive .

The playing history: Werevu was - as my character - first played on Realm of Magic, then also joined BlueMge and Addict MUD. Newest development: playing on AVATAR MUD (this name actually masking the acronym Advanced Virtual Adventures Through Alternate Realms.)

On BlueMageMUD (MUD defunct - no trace of either the homepage, or the MUD itself!)

• Title: The Barefoot Elf [Squire of Onyx]
• level 10-15 in all 4 classes (multi-class playing was allowed) and about to become a full member of the Onyx Clan once all 4 levels surpassed 20.
• Advertizing Realm of Magic a little on BlueMage, but most of the players there preferred to stick to their MUD (which was, after all one of the best power MUDs one could ask for).
• Managed to get killed on behalf of another player, which hasn't happened as yet on RoM.

On AddictMUD - MUD-sided character deletion after too long absence

• Title: the Barefoot Sage - level 8, Sorcerer (mage-equivalent) on this Circle-derivative MUD (newbie to this MUD, but not to MUDding, at all!!)
• Not yet afilliated to any clan/order.
• Nice feature found on this MUD: the AddictMUD Metro (almost as unique as the ship line system on RoM)

On Realm of Magic - character deleted by player

• Last title used: official Tribune of KOHORTA [leo luminans - in pedibus nudis] - order chief of KOHORTA (bringing the privilege to be able to invite or kick out new members to the KOHORTA order...).
• Level at deletion: 96 - continuous online time: more than 100 days - created: Fall 1995
• Twice former Mortal Judge (fall 1996 & spring 1997)
• Former editor/staff member of the Realm News
• Author of an unfinished story on the background of his character and two drafts of a policy addendum (see above)
• Deleted at level 96, due to a conflict of interest with an immortal... - since the conflict had been resolved, Werevu's player has returned, created and played a new character on RoM.

On Avatar MUD - defunct player
